Hello,

I am looking for the place and or the home of Noble Harrigan.  He was born around 1802. Married Susan Emerson.  She was born around 1813. They moved to Canada.  They had several children in Ireland as well as in Canada.  It looks as if they were married in Belfast.  I think they were from the county of Derry.  Any information would be helpful.  We are having a Harrigan reunion in Michigan, USA on July 27th. My wife and I are planning on visiting Ireland in October.

Regards, Norman Harrigan

  • Hi

Thank you for your message. Do you know much about their emigration? The dates, the reason why they left, who they may have travelled with?..etc..Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g. Liverpool, New York, etc.), this could be a good place to find more information. -And perhaps even find out an exact place of origin.

Some sites which may be helpful to you are:
