Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has an 1857 baptismal record for a James Foley in the Dungarvan RC church records. Without knowing his parents names, it may be difficult to confirm if this is the correct James Foley.

Roots is a pay site to view transcriptions of church records.

Spillane and Crowley are Irish names as you indicated. Looks like you need to do more work on your end to find birth, marriage and death records, look at the 1901 and 1911 censuses etc. and try to determine when your relatives left Ireland. Did they all come from Waterford?

Let me know if you have other questions.

I assume that you are referring to the link in my October message. Looking at that link, there is an extraneous "has" in the link for some reason so it won't work.  www.rootsireland.ie       This link should work but you have to register and get a subscription to see any of the records.
