I am researching my ancestry and seeking information on my 2nd great grandfather, Patrick Purcell and his wife, Mary (Nesbit) Purcell. I have a record from rootsireland.ie that indicates a marriage between Patrick Purcell and Mary Purcell on 29 June 1840 in Castlecomer. The address listed is Lowan and the witnesses are Michael Doran and Mary Brennan. Is it possible that the parish records could confirm whether Mary Purcell is in fact mary Nesbit?

Thank you. I look forward to hearing back.

Same answer that I gave you for the record in Drom and Inch in Tipperary. Check out the Castlecomer records when they become available on Wednesday. Clough and Castlecomer parish is in the Diocese of Ossory.
