I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather Andrew Byrne. According to what we know he was born in 1859. His father's name was Michael Byrne and his mother's name was Anne Hogan. He was baptized in New Bridge, Kildare. The family's place of residence at that time is listed on the church records as what looks like "Authgarvan"

The townland would be Blackrath and Athgarvan in Greatconnell civil parish in central Co. Kildare. It looks like you have the baptismal record for Andrew. The subscription site Roots Ireland had a brother Patrick baptized Christmas Day 1857.

There were also Byrnes in the townland in the 1901 census.
