I'm helping me mom do her family tree. I found alot of information from Irish Census and Irish Genealogy. This is the information I have. My Mom's Father was Daniel J O'Donoghue( i'm alittle confused on the O and not the O on the last name. he told my mom he dropped the O to get the boat quicker to come to US). He was the youngest, and he had 2 brothers John and Patrick. John came to the US. Patrick stayed in Ireland with his mother Elllen. There Father John died. In the census I checked every census form 1911 of O'Donoghue's and nothing added up . But when I checked Donoghue i found John father, ellen or ellis mother, and the 3 boys Patrick, John, Dan. Residents of a house 23 in Shinnagh (Rathmore, Kerry) . I know exactly when patrick died. My mom has his prayer card. My mom Patricia was named after Patrick. He dies July 11, 1961. On the death registery states he was married. I have searched high and low. the only Marriage register that i think matches is Mary Cronin on February 18th 1928. I trying to find out if this right? Is mary still alive and in Ireland? did they have children?

Search for Patrick Donoghue in Kerry and then limit the search to Rathmore, you will find a Baptism record for a Patrick from SHINNAGH born to John Donoghue and Ellen Murphy on May 6, 1899. That date matches up with his death record. His death record you provided also says from SHINNAGH.
I am related to Donoghues from Doocarrigbeg in the same area, we are probably related. Have you done a DNA test?

Hi, My name is James Hayes. My mum is Sheila Cronin from Shinnagh. I believe Patrick Donoghue was married to Annie Moynihan also from Shinnagh. I recently came across a letter from Annie and Patrick to my mum. The letter was congratulating my mum on her first born child 1951. I believe Annie was my mums godmother. I recall visiting Annie in the 60's when my mum would go back to visit her parents. I am trying to find Annie's death cert but no luck yet. Maybe we are related? Sheila Cronin's gedmatch no is A235349. Are you on gedmatch?
