Searching for connections with others of same surname in area of Rathmore - John Leary b 1798 and wife Abbie (Gobnait) Callahan he born in Kerry parents James Leary and Hannah Walsh, immigrated to US and settled in New Hampshire. Children all born in Ireland - James (my great grandfather) , Hannah, Mary, Catherine, John and Daniel (born 1829-1842) Mary, Hannah immigrated in 1848 and rest in 1853. Daniel died in Ireland. Lived on same townland as Jeremiah Leary (whose descendants still live there today).
