My grandmother, Ellen Pierce, emigrated from Duagh approximately in 1897. She was born Sept 18, 1872. Her parents were James Pierce and Johanna Barry. I am looking for any information about her and her family. I will be traveling to Ireland next year and would like to learn about them before my arrival.

The following: James Pierse & Johanna Barry married 10th Feb 1861 RC Parish of Duagh.
They had 8 children & 5 living by 1911 Census www.nationalarchives.ie
Baptisms as follows: 1. Bess 3 May 1862-Elizabeth 27th September 1863-Garret 7th Oct 1867-Catherine 3rd April 1870 - Ellen 19th Sept 1872 - James 14th May 1874 - Joanna 2nd May 1875Catherine 10th April 1879.
Bess 1862 must have died as Elizabeth 1863 name is another version of Bess. Also Catherine 1870 must have died as another Catherine born 1879.
All baptisms in RC Parish of DUAGH Co Kerry.
