Meagher or Maher

The Duagh records start in 1819 for baptisms and 1832 for marriages and can be found on www.irishgenealogy.ie  I located seven baptisms for children of Patrick Meagher and Ellen Wolf. The children were Margaret 1829 Elizabeth 1836 Joanna 1838 Bartholomew 1846 Mary 1848 Ellen 1850 Catherine 1853  I presume these records were for the same couple but possibly there were two Patrick Meagher/Ellen Wolfs in the parish.

One other snippet of information may interest you. The baptism entry for Ellen (10 October 1850) states that both sponsors (Richard Wolfe and Margaret Maher) had migrated to America. (the Latin is "migrati ad Americam"). Given the names, it is likely that these were siblings of the parents. You may know something already about these people.
