Thank you very much for your query to Ireland Reaching Out. Have you checked the marriage record for Timothy Brosnan and Mary Shea? Check the General Register Office (GRO) for this record if you have not done so already. This might give you additional information about the couple.

Try checking local newspapers or cemetery registers for information about the deaths (death notices etc.) for Michael and John Garvey.

Thank you--I have Michael and John's death records in New Hampshire, USA and have been to their gravesite.  Sadly, my grandmother was only 6 months old when her father died and by 13 was orphaned as her mother also died. The cemetery register is very brief--apparently the gravesite was either donated or purchased by folks long dead. 

I appreciate your suggestions and will pursue the GRO suggestion.

I may be a long lost cousin of yours as your Great Grandfather Michael Brosnan would have been a Brother of my Great Grandfather Martin Brosnan.  I have been tracing my family tree for the past few years and I may have some additional information for you.  I sent a copy of a report from my Database to your old email address which you posted in 2003 looking for this information.
