I am still searching for information on my maternal great grandfather who came from Tuam. His birth year is anywhere between 1843-1856 (taken from age given in US census records). I know that he worked as a horse groom on the Dalgin - Milbrook Estate and was given a letter of reference before emigrating. That letter is dated May 1872. This is the only information we have on him. Can someone please direct me where to go from here. Regards.

Was Richard Married when he emigrated? Spouse name? Childrens names / when born.
Have details for a Richard born about 1847 with a child born in 1871 so I will confirm if a match.
