Hello IrelandX0,
I have found an ancestor's marriage record in the NIL records. I cannot figure out or find the name of the street. Any help would be grateful.
Matthew Faherty married to Mary King, 20 Oct 1825, Rahoon, Co Galway, Ireland. I believe the street says "Polnaroma" but have been unsuccessful in locating it.
Thank you very much
Judy Faherty Heaton

Judy,
The address relates to a townland in the parish of Rahoon. Changes were made in the 1840/50's by Griffith's Valuers and it is now the townlands of Pollnarooma East and West.
I will check to see if I can locate the home of Matthew Faherty in 1825 and get back to you.
Attached are the townlands mentioned which are now built-up areas.

Judy,
Attached Tithe Record for Poulnaroma (No year given). No "Faherty" recorded, but it has two "King".
Widow King and Patrick King. Both farming. It is likely that Mary King was from this townland?
