Can you add some more information that could help narrow down the Peter Higgisn that you mean - what were his siblings' and parents' names and where were they born ?

What year was Peter born and where ?

Do you have an area of Moylough that he came from?

They were from 'Hill House' & both Peter and his wife my gran are buried in plot No 234/235 Moylough, I have lost all info I had due to computer crash, (that'll teach me to back-up in future). Thanks Peter

I was just in a cousin's house and her mother's great aunt married a Peter Higgins from the Hill House in Moylough She was a Mary Higgins from Lavally I am presuming this is your family

Peter & Martin, I think we may all be from the same family. I am searching for info on my great grandparents Peter and Mary Higgins from Galway. Came to New York City around 1909, had my grandmother Mary Ellen in 1910 and a son Joseph Patrick in 1912 and then the family moved back to Ireland around 1916. Mary came back to the US and married Dick Mooney in NYC in 1933.
