I'm searching for my grandmother's(Bridget Croaghan) family. Her birth certificate has the following information Father Thomas,mother Mary nee Rattican, ....Bridget was born on 4/2/1896 in Clooncagh, district of Glennamaddy county Galway....any information would be appreciated. My grandmother married John Byrnes in America in the 1920's...We knew her as Delia and she had 2 sons Thomas and James and 2 daughters Rose and Katherine....Any information on the Croaghan or Rattican families would help....

Civil registration for births started in 1864 and I did not see any records for either Thomas or Mary. I did find Thomas' death record in 1922 but could not find a record for Mary.
