Greetings from the U.S.
I was happy to read of the expansion this coming year.
I am hopeful that perhaps I will be able to find living members of my family.
My Great Grandmother Mary Morrin left the Parish of Clonbur. She was born on 04 May 1869 in the townland Ardane East. She was the daughter of Patrick Morrin and Bridget Flanagan. She had a brother Patrick, and two sisters Anne and Bridget who remained in Ireland in the same area.I am hopeful there are family members searching. Mary married Martin Mylott here in the U.S. who also came over. When my grandfather Thomas Mylott visited Ireland we only knew he went to see cousins. The birth of Mary Morrin was a civil registration District of Clonbur No.1. Please let me know if this parish registers or perhaps was absobed by another.I would like to get involved in this project. I have made several trips to Ireland and would welcome a reason to return again!
Kind Regards, Deborah

General-North/South America:Do you know much about their emigration? The dates, the reasonwhy they left, who they may have travelled with?..etc..Generally more information was given atthe port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g.Liverpool, New York, etc.), this could be a good place to find more information. -And perhaps evenfind out an exact place of origin. This extraordinary collection of 40,743 recordsis available here as a searchable online database, which contains a text record for each ad thatappeared in the Pilot. http://infowanted.bc.edu/ Genealogy groups/forums: Irish Lives Remembered offers a free genealogy forum at:http://www.irishlivesremembered.ie/ British & Irish Genealogy:http://bi-gen.blogspot.ie/ Genealogy group ?
