Hi folks, any help tracing my 2 x Gr grandmother's family would be greatly appreciated. The details i have are as follows -

Maria Noon born abt 1858 Galway

Father: John Noon abt 1821

Mother: Mary Naughton? abt 1835

Siblings: Michael abt 1860, Martin abt 1864

All birth dates taken from UK Census records.. only other info i have is that they're all apparently born in Galway.

Many thanks for looking

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Roots Ireland had an 1858 baptismal record for your Mary. The RC church was Ballinasloe which is in East Galway on the border with Co. Roscommon. No townland was provided on the record. I did look at Martin's 1864 record and they lived in Brackernagh. It appears that Brackernagh is real close to and may be part of Ballinasloe. In fact, the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing shows a John Noone on Brackernagh St. I have also included below a link to the actual parish register for Ballinasloe RC parish.
