Looking for any help to find any information or just the parish of Ellen Toole. Ellen Toole (b. 1835) immigrated to Chicopee, MA n 1852 (alone). She married the following year, and the marriage records list her birthplace as Co Galway. Also listed is her father, Anthony Toole, from Co Galway. Later records name her father as Edward? so her fathers name could be Edward Anthony Toole. He would have been born 1800 - 1810. I have found few if any Anthony Toole's listed in the Galway country records (all the readily available records). Ellen's marriage record lists her father as "died in Co Galway" so that would be before 1854. Any help would be appreciated.

Many of the Co. Galway RC parishes do not have records back to 1835 or their records are not currently on Roots Ireland. I did check the Roots indexes for 1830-1840 and found one record an Ellen Toole baptized in 1833 but the fathers name was Patrick.
There were no Anthony Toole records on the Tithe Applotment listings.
Have you researched Ellen on Ancestry.com? Maybe another person has Ellen in their tree with more family information.
Another alternative is autosomal DNA testing. DNA testing is not a panacea but you may match someone who has more info on the Toole family.
