I have visited Loughrea on two occasions to see if I could find out any info on my Great Grandfather (x 3) w ho was born around 1835 and gave his birth place as Loughrea but unfortunately I have not been able to get any info. His name was Thomas and his surname was spelt various ways including Coin Coen Cohen and Coyne. His fathers name was Patrick and his mother Honoria. he arrived in Leeds England around 1851 and died in 1919. Any help wuld be appreciated.I understand due to the rural nature of Loughrea he may not have come from the actual town
