James Butler b 1812

Hi my name is Brenda Butler

I am looking for any information on either

James Butler b 1812 or Catherine Coates b1816

they were married in 1837 or 1838 belive

James left Irland along with his family around about 1851-1854 and came to the United States landed in New Orleans LA and then moved to Vigo Indiana

James and Catherine had 9 children

Bridget,Julia Anes, James,thomas,Mary F,Anna, Hugh,Margaret Mary,Ellen or Ella.  Most of their children would have been born in Irland.  We are pretty sure they were part of the Roman Cathlic Church in Irland.  Have great difficulties finding anything about this family in Ireland. We are pretty sure they were all baptized in the Church.

This is all the information I have when it comes to them being in Ireland.  Any help at all would be helpful in finding my father in laws roots.

We do believe James was born in Kiltormer Galaway not sure of the Parish
