I'm looking for information about my great great great grandparents. Cornelius Howran (born 1792) and Mary Howran (Maloney)(born 1793). They came to Canada in 1825 as part of the Peter Robinson emigration. They were joined by their 4 children Daniel (13), Denis(10), Mary(4), Connor(2). They signed an embarkation certificate dated April 26th 1825 in Newmarket county of Cork. They were sponsored by R.O. Aldworth. I am curious if they left behind any relatives (parents, brothers, sisters) that could be traced in Ireland.

  • Hello,

I found that my ancestors Patrick & Ellen Murphy were 'sponsored' by R.O. Aldworth as well.  Very common names make research dificult, but I'm looking for any asisisatnce I can find regarding their pre-Robinson immigration lives.
