Second marriage RC Church Boherbue, Co. Cork, Ireland, 12 June 1875, Marriage cert dated 13 Apr 2002 shows John, a labourer aged 40, widower from Raenagoshel, his father Daniel Keeffe (labourer) was still alive. Witness Daniel Murphy and Jeremiah Keeffe. Parish Priest was John O'Leary.

Boherbue RC Church certificate (signed by curate, Patrick Griffin dated 16/09/1984) says John Keeffe (Rae-na-goshel) married Catherine McCauliffe (Gloun-na-lougha) at RC Church Boherbue on 12th June 1875. Officiating priest was Rev Fr John O'Leary. Witness D Murphy (Boherbue) J Keeffe (Rae-na-goshel)

Letter from Fr O'Donovan 7 Feb 1985 advised John & Kate lived in townland (parish subdivision) of Keelnahulla.

1911 Irish Census shows John O'Keeffe was Father, RC faith, unable to read or write, aged 79.

Death Cert of son Jeremiah shows his fathers name was Jack O'Keefe.

Death Cert dated 29 April 2002 shows john as a labourer, aged 88, died at Knocknucurra, senile decay, no medical attendant. Daughter-in-law Mary Keeffe was present at John's death.
