My great grandmother, Mary Walsh was born 1869 in Carrownakib, Galway County, Ireland. Mary came to the USA sometime around 1885 and married in 1890. On the marriage cerificate she names her father as Timothy Walsh and the priest wrote the mothers name as Kind but wrote the d real light like he was not sure. As I have never seen that name in my researches I think the name was Kyne. The first name of Mary Walsh was Anne. I did find Timothy in the Griffith's and in the Lithe Appointment books. I do not know if she had siblings and if they stayed in Ireland.

Thank you, Elwyn but my Timothy was deceased by the 1901 census. I found him in Griffith's in 1855 and the Tithe Applotment books up to 1898. The person who did the Tithe Applotment book did not give a reason why a new tenant was on Timothy's rental property. I know he was always #14 in Carrownakib.
