Hello
We are trying to locate some relatives who were from Crosswell, Creggs, Roscommon.
There was John Mulligan who died March 1965 and was married to Bridget Mulligan who died October 2002. They had several children (including twins) - one who was Margaret Josephine Mulligan who lived in Birmingham for a few years. She was born around 1947 and around 1970 decided to move to New York where her sisters had moved to.
Is there any information as to where Margaret and her sisters now live? We are lead to believe that Margaret may still be in New York, (Peal River area).
regards
Bernie

I'm researching the family of Bridget Mulligan, bridget married John McLaughlin, they had John McLaughlin who left Ireland for Philadelphia in 1860. John married Bridget Coyne, they lived in Newton, Mass. My mom told me other family names with this McLAUGHLIN family is FALLON,CUNNIFF,COYNE, MULLIGAN, most of them were from New Jersey.
BRIDGET COYNE'S parents were DENNIS & BRIDGET KELLY COYNE
JOHN McLAUGHLIN'S parents were JOHN & BRIDGET MULLIGAN McLAUGHLIN, I have a hometown for the McLaughlins as CURRAGHROE, ROSCOMMON

Hello, Ironpool!. My great grandmother was Mary Mulligan. She married Michael Gavin. Birth records for some of their children show they were born in Leaha/Leahive. I've found baptism records on line. The children I've found were baptised in the parish shown as Glinsk on the Catholic records available through NLI. Gavins and Mulligans both farmed land in Leaha in the 1850s based on the Griffiths valuation records. It seems like a good bet that your Bridget and my great grandmother Mary were related. I've had DNA analysis done through Ancestry.com. I'm pretty sure I've seen your "name" somewhere in my DNA researches. It would be great to compare notes if you've found any additional info on the Mulligans in Kilbeget.
