Hi all, apparently my wife's father and uncles lived in Ballyturin (or Ballyturn) house in I believe the late 1920's. I have had a look through records etc., but the only reference I can find is the house was owned by the Bagot family, and the massacre that took place there as well in 1921.
A family member mentioned a timber merchant ruining the house (not sure how, renovation or burnt it down). I have pictures of them outside the house, but no record of the family (Ross) being there.
Can anyone shed any light on things?
Many thanks,
John
