My grandfather George Lowe Sharpe lived in Glenamaddy and was born in 1864.He moved to UK where his children grew up. I believe his father was James Sharpe born 1841 and he married Annie Milner born 1857.

    Here is the civil birth index record for George. If you want to get a copy of the record, you can write to the GRO www.groireland.ie  Fill out their form and provide the year, registration district and volume and page number ( 19 and 325). Civil registration started in 1864. I also noticed birth index records for the following Sharpe children in the Glennamaddy registration district: James 1866, Mary Anne 1868, William 1870 and Joseph 1872. Possibly they were siblings of George?
