My Grand Father was the son of Michael Redden of Clonkelagh and Bridget Penders of Ballynakill. My Great Grand Father was a local farmer and had seven children Mary1877, Patrick Francis 1882, Thomas Patrick 1883, John Michael 1886, Michael 1888, Mary Bridget 1891, and Edward (Ned) 1895. My Grand Father John Michael emmigrated in 1908 to New York and was preceeded by Patrick Francis 1905 and Thomas Patrick 1906. Mary the oldest appears to have died at a young age no details presently available. Patrick died in 1918 from the Spanish Flu in NYC. Thomas died in 1916 causes unknown.John Michael died of cancer in 1941 in Bronx, New York. Michael left Ballynakill and eventually settle in Skerries, He died 1959. Mary Bridget had an untimely death and I am looking for details on her demise. Edward inherited the farm and his daughter in law still lives in the family home. Edward died in Ballynaill on the 14 March 1967.
I am trying to gleen information on the family members that remained in Ireland and any documentation to verify the family records. Are their parish records for the family members I mentioned and information pointing back to Thomas Pender Bridget's father and Thomad Reddin Michael's father. Thomas Pender is posted in Griffith's valuation and I already have the 1901 and 1911 Census information plus some civil rgistrations.
Several of John Michael Redden's Grand Children and Great Grand Children will be travling back to Ireland for two weeks in the the begining of November. I am hoping that they might have some spare times in their travels to stop in at the parish. What would be available for them should they be able to visit the parish?

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
If you are looking for RC church records for the parish they start very late-1884. I assume earlier records were lost. The National Library of Ireland does not have any information on the parish and Roots Ireland shows an 1884 start with the exception of some marriage records from 1810-1812.
