DOOLEY:  We have seen a Griffiths Valuation Record for 1857 for a Lawrence Dooley of Springlawn, having a small holding of 6 acres, 1 rood & 5 perches. He was a tenant of John W Maunsell, who was himself a tenant of Smyth.

We are looking for a Lawrence Dooley b c1796, cattle dealer, married to a Margaret Larkin; children born between 1832 and 1850, Mt Bellew, Co Galway: Bridget, Patrick, Martin, Mary, Thomas, Lawrence, Catherine and William Riley.

Does anyone know anything about this Dooley family and whether this Griffiths Valuation record relates to the same Lawrence Dooley that we are looking for?
