Searching for information on my g-grandparents, Thomas Fahy (born about 1841) and Mary McLoughlin (born about 1846) - both resided and died in Derrybrien. They married on 12 Feb 1866. I think Thomas died in 1911 and Mary died between 1901-1911. They were Roman Catholic - not sure if they attended church in Derrybrien or Killeenadeema.

Thomas's father was Michael Fahy and Mary's father was Thomas McLoughlin.

Their children who married and remained in Ireland were Annie (born 1872 - married Martin Markham), Mary (born 1874 - married Patrick Canning), Margaret (born 1883 - married Edward Mahony), and Bridget (born 1890 - married ? Donohoe). The children who emigrated to US were Patrick (born 1873), Catherine - my grandmother (born 1878), John (born 1880), and Peter (born 1885). No info could be found about son Thomas (born 1866). I would like to find descendants of these Fahys.

From Griffiths Valuation, I located my g-g-grandfather Michael Fahy in Derrybrien East and Thomas McLoughlin in Derrybrien West.

Thomas Fahy and Mary McLoughlin were located in Derrybrien East in the 1901 census with their children. In the 1911 census, Thomas and daughter Bridget were located in Derrybrien East.  The Cannings and Mahonys were also in Derrybrien East, and the Markhams were in Derrybrien North. No info was found about the Donohoes.

I have checked birth/baptism, marriage, and death registrations available on ancestry.com and familysearch.org. Any additional info about these ancestors or their descendants in Ireland would be greatly appeciated. I am interested also in learning more about Derrybrien. Thanks.
