Our great-grandfather, Thomas Hannon, was born on 07 Dec. in 1865 in Clonbrock, County Galway. We believe he was baptized in Ahascragh - his Church Baptism record indicates Caltra. His parents are James Hannon and Mary McLoughlin. James and Mary were married on 20 Jan. 1859 in Moylough/Montbellew and their address was listed as Newtown on their Church Marriage Record.
Thomas came to the United States sometime around 1888 and he married our great-grandmother, Catherine Kelly, in 1890 in Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Brooklyn, NY.
We are hoping to see if there are any remaining members of the Hannon family or anyone who can help us connect with the Kelly family, as we have been unable to find Catherine's place of birth. Thank you for your advice or suggestions!
