My Ancestors were Hugh Curry and Biddy Maguire who were married in 1853.
Hugh was the son of Peter and Ellen Curry and was born in 1810. Biddy Maguire, I don't know when she was born but presume it was in the late 1820's. Her Father was Thomas Maguire, have no proof of that though!
Ellen Curry, Hugh's Mother died around 1878 at the age of 99. Her husband Peter died back in the late 1840's. Children of this couple were, Owen, Felix, Patt, Thomas, Mary. It is possible there were more children to his Family.
Hugh and Biddy had children, Ellen, Peter, Bridget (My GGrandmother), Mary and Thomas.
Thomas was still living on the property in Gortmullan in the 1901 and 1911 census. Also still living with them was his Aunt Mary, Hugh's sister.
The last Family to be living on the property were Julia Curry, a school teacher and her Brother, Patrick. Julia and Pat died in a fire around 1981. These were Thomas's Children.
Thomas married Anne Maguire, Father Michael from Doon, Fermanagh, in 1887.
I don't know what became of Biddy, who may have still been living when Hugh past away in 1895.
Bridget and Mary came to Australia in 1878 aboard The Rodney.
The names Delia, Francis, Louisa are common names of Our Family here in Australia.
Does anyone have a connection to this Family?

Hi Josie,
Thank you very much for your message-you have done a great job on your family tree! I hope that someone connected to the family contacts you.
As there were family living in Tomregan as recently as 1981 it may be an idea to contact the local parish priest to see if he has any information that may help, for example he may know if there are still family members in the area today. Here is a link to the contact page:

I agree with Josie's compliments to you. Great job!
All I can offer is information that may be related. This caught my eye as it was Curry marrying Curry. ~ alt. Currey
After Mr Curry died, Mrs Curry (nee Curry) wife ran the hotel, and after her death the property went to auction, including the neat weatherboard cottage known by a name that stuck in my memory.
