Looking for information on William Elliott, who married Sarah Price on June, 12, 1851 in Killesher. Their son George emigrated to Quebec, Canada and married Margaret McIntyre in ~1882. They moved to Oakland, California not long after that. William's father was also William, and Sarah's father was John Price. There were several William Elliotts living in Kellesher Parish in 1828:

William was still living in 1901. He was a widower and living with his son William in Dooneen townland in Killesher civil parish. Note the oldest grand daughter was Sarah. He had died by the 1911 census. I went to www.familysearch.org and looked for death index records for William in the Enniskillen registration district. Two of the four are below. The other two had births in the 1830s. You can write to the GRO www.groireland.ie if you want a copy. Fill out their form and provide both sets of volume and page numbers and tell them you want the William from Dooneen.

The last Elliott living in Dooneen was George who died a few years ago. His niece Thelma, daughter of Nixon Elliott inherrited his property and returns there frequently. I have a contact phone number for her.
