I have found a few documents for my GGG greandfather bernard mccusker the first record i found for him besides coming to america in 1851 with a mother Ellen and siblings jane Neal Edward and Hugh. the first record in ireland i have is a marriage record at st tierneys church in Rosslea for 1866 to ann carbin.he was married under the name cusker. on that records it looks like he wrote aghaviegh from where he is from. more records i found were all his childrens including my gg grandfathers birth registartion in brookboro. and i know my gg grandfather was baptised at st marys church in brookboro. the last thing i have for bernard is that he died april 27 1878. a month after my gg grandfather was born. and the death record has three townland names. including fermanagh, brookboro, and lisnaskea. any more help with the mccuskers or cuskers would be so helpful

    Hi,

    Thank you for your message.

I hope that someone recognises the family names and is able to give you some assistance.

Perhaps it may also be an idea to contact the Irish World Heritage Centre for assistance- a fee may apply. Here are their contact details:

Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.

    Kind regards,
