Family of John Carson, his wife Mary Wells who stayed in ireland

There are quite a few public member trees on ancestry which have John Carson born 1789 Scotland, but others have Ireland.

www.rootsireland.ie/ has a baptism record for him in Dromore Down C of I parish 25 Mar 1787; parents Andrew Carson & Sara Curl

The trees have Mary Wells born 1789 in Belfast but I couldn't find this record. They also have that he married Mary Wells 12 Aug 1823 Tullylish Down but I could only find this marriage. I did find a marriage of John Carson to Margaret Porter 1 Sep 1819 Banbridge, Down.
