I am inquiring about my 4th Great Grandfather Thomas Minnis who was born in Newtonards in 1811. He married Mary Jane Annett who was also born in Kilkeel in 1817. They gave birth to my 3rd Great Grandfather Charles W Minnis in 1833 in Newtonards. Charles W Minnis emigrated to the U.S. as a young man and married Margaret Woods (who was born in 1841 in Derry). Thomas died in September of 1880 in Kilkeel and his wife Mary Jane died on July 1st, 1902 also in Kilkeel.
If anybody has any information on the Minnis family from Newtonards and Kilkeel, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have found out from this page that Mary Jane and Thomas Minnis had a daughter named Margaret Jane who was born on April 5, 1842 and was baptized on April 21, 1842 at Mourne Presbyterian Church in Kilkeel.
Any additional information regarding the Minnis and Annett family is welcome.
