Hello! I am looking for any connections to my gggrandfather, William Garrett, 1829-1912 and his wife, Martha Jane McKigney 1829-1910. Their children are: William Garrett b 1858, Samuel Garrett b 1861 (my ggrandfather), Thomas Garrett b 1864, James Garrett b 1865, Robert Garrett b 1867, Jane Garrett b 1870, Alexander Garrett b 1873, and Margaret Garrett b 1875. Thanks!

Kathy:
I don't see your Garrett family in the 1901 census. Had they already left Ireland.
Here is a link to the online Northern Ireland phone book.

There are some Garretts in the Killyleagh area.

I had a look for the births of some of the children. I can see all those for James through to Margaret in 1875 (31.10.1875). All were registered in the City of Armagh, which is a considerable distance from Killyleagh in Co. Down (which is where you have posted your query). Perhaps there’s some confusion over where this family actually lived? Wm Garret's marriage to Martha M'Kigney was registered in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone on 7.11.1850. That's even further away from Co. Down.
I suggest you obtain the marriage certificate and one or more of the birth certificates to get the family’s townlands, father's occupations etc. We can then search for them in the 1901 census and in other records. You can view the certificates on-line on the GRONI website, using the “search registrations” option:
(You will need to open an account and buy some credits. It costs £2 to a view a certificate).
This could be Alexander (b 31.1.1873) in the 1901 census. (You would need to get his marriage certificate to find out):

Alexander looks to have married Margaret Ann Trotter on 12.9.1899 in the City of Armagh.
