If you order one or more of the birth certificate for the children born in Ireland, that should give you the relevant townland where the family were living. You should then be able to track them in the Griffiths revaluation records to find out when they arrived and left etc. It would also enable you to find that location today, should you wish to do so. What looks to be Richard?s birth was registered in Banbridge 1871 Volume 1, page 209. The revaluation records are on-line but will be of little or no use without a specific townland to search.

Assuming that Susan came from Co Down then possibly her parents lived nearby.

I assume that Susan was RC and that it was probably an RC marriage and in Ireland? If so, RC marriages before 1864 weren?t included in the statutory records and so won?t show up on familysearch in the civil indexes. Some parish records are on Rootsireland but I don?t see a match in this case.

It?s unfortunate that David was born in 1858. Generally Scottish birth certificates record the date and place that the parents married. However they didn?t do that for the years 1856 to 1860 and so you won?t get that information from that source.
