I couldn't find a marriage record for Isaac & Sara or a burial record for Isaac.

I found a marriage record for Thomas McClelland to Sara Mahaffey but it says she was previously unmarried & that her father was James Mahaffey.

G'day Col from Down-Under! Many thanks for your quick response and time. Much appreciated. Details for Isaac are great! Did not know about Robert? McClelland can't be our man as the Mother of our Mahaffeys was definietely married! We assumed from Lease Records that the death of Isaac Snr was the reason for the family's inability to continue leasing their land? No doubt this was why Sarah and Agnes emigrated to Australia for eligible younger women to migrate and to eventually 'provide' wives for a colony that was top-heavy with men!
