Hugh McGuinness (c1824-?) married Anna Quigg (1829/30-1916) on 1 Nov 1849 in the Moville RC Church. Together they had 13 children between 1849 and 1874 in Glencrow, Tiryrone or the Moville area. I believe that Hugh died between 1874 and 1800 as Anna and 8 of her children emigrated to New York in the early to mid 1880s. Would appreciate any information concerning these McGuinness/Quigg families - especially date and place of Hugh's death/burial. Thank you.

The Indexes to Irish civil indexes have 3 Hugh McGuinness deaths in the period 1874 ? 1900, registered in Inishowen (which includes Moville).
One lived from 1770 and died in 1874; another 1821 ? Jul- Sept 1896 and the last 1817 to Jul ? Sept 1897. You might want to get those 3 certs to see if any is your ancestor.
Ballybrack RC graves are on-line. There are a couple of Hughs. Not everyone could afford a gravestone and so there will be many more people buried there without a record.
