John Dermott born Moville 1775 served in 21st Foot regiment in Guernsey. Discharged age 41 1816. His son James was born 1801 on Guernsey his mother Elanor Chambers being John's wife Birth place Moville ? Upper or Lower. His son was married in Dorset England and his father was witness at the wedding in 1838 .I dont think John returned to Ireland and I do not know who his parents are nor where Elanor came from but no trace of her on Guernsey
