I am researching my Irish ancestors who came from Killygordon a/c to the documentation of the ship "Resource" which carried Patrick (born abt 1819), Daniel (born abt. 1822), Hannah (born abt 1822) and Margaret (born abt 1825) Logue to Sydney, arriving on 22 December 1840 as "Bounty" emigrants. Father's name was Charles Logue, mother's Margaret Bracey.

Hello Wendy,
I've looked for the baptismal records for patrick and siblings on www.rootsireland.ie and www.irishgenealogy.ie but I can't seem to find any records pertaining to this family at all. That doesn't mean to say that they're not there, it could be that they are not online. Also civil registration only began in 1864. Church registration started a bit earlier but the dates of commencement vary wildly from parish to parish. However I see from the rootsireland site that the donegal parishes started very late in the 1860 and 1870s.
Sorry that I can't be of assistance to you. It may be worth contacting the parish priest ( I'm assuming they were catholic?) to see if they have records going back that far.
Kind regards,
Anne Dennehy

Hi Newty,
The records at St Patrick's RC Church, Crossroads, Killygordon in the parish of Donaghmore date back to 1840.
Maybe you could contact the church using the link on the main Donaghmore page.
