Vanessa,
You have put this query on the Magherafelt board. I checked the Irish civilbirth indexes. I cannot find a Jane (Francis) Regan born anywhere in Ireland in 1919, let alone in Magherafelt. Suspect the information you have may not be 100% accurate. Can you give us a bit more about he family so we can try and help?

Vanessa,
Yes I cna see it now. Sorry I missed it first time. You can order a photocopy of the certificate from GRO Roscommon for €4. http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Apply-for-Certificates.aspx
You have to download and print off the form. Then either post or fax it back to them. You can’t e-mail it to them. However if you want them to e-mail the cert to back to you, they will do that, so tick the relevant box.
Put the reference details on the form (anywhere). Don’t worry about leaving some boxes blank. As long as GRO have the location, name(s), year, quarter (where there is one), volume and page number they should find it.

Hi Elwyn
Thank you so much for that.
Would it be possible for you to send me the link for Irish civilbirth indexes, so that I have the right site please. Would this site give me her parents deaht/marriage etc details?

Irish civil births are on the familysearch site:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1408347
But you won’t get anything but the index information from that. You have to order each certificate to find the information you want about parents etc. For the Republic of Ireland these indexes take you up to 1958 but for what is now Northern Ireland they stop at 31.12.1921. Each photocopy costs €4 (euros).
Another option for Northern Ireland only which is cheaper and quicker, is to view the original certificates on-line on the GRONI site, using the “search registrations” option:
You will need to open an account and buy some credits. It costs £2 (pounds sterling) to a view a certificate on-line.
The GRONI site does not allow you to view deaths under 50 years, marriages under 75 and births under 100 years. So you can’t view a 1919 birth cert on the GRONI site. You’ll need to order that from Roscommon. But once you have the parents names you would be able to search for their marriage on the GRONI site, without havign to wait for another cert to come from Roscommon.
