TO ALL,
My cousin, Attorney John Thomas Convery, died 19 SEPT 1927 New Orleans, Louisiana U.S.A. NAt the time of his death, John Thomas Convery was due a share of the value of Convery land in Rocktown. As the land formed part of the Deceased’s estate, Patrick J. Agnew, a local Solicitor, acted on behalf of the Executrix of the Estate at the time of John Thomas Convery's death.

I received a copy of the Estate filing, which you can retrieve via the Dropbox link below. NOTE: The Estate documents make reference to a Deed of Assignment, dated 29 JULY 1924, made between John Convery (Manus), my great, great grandfather and John Thomas Convery, my cousin (highlighted in RED in the Dropbox link). However, the entire Deed of Assignment is not attached.

How can I obtain a copy of the entire Deed of Assignment, dated 39 JULY 1924?
Is there any way to find the location of the Convery land referred to in the original Deed on a historical map and current map?

Hi again
This link may be of interest to you: https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/searching-the-land-registry
I am also moving your message to the Maghera, Derry Message Board as the Lavey parish page you are listed on up to now is for Co. Cavan. Lavey in Derry is not a civil parish but a RC parish (and our website mostly runs on the cbasis of the civil parish) so the corresponding civil parish for Lavey, Derry is Maghera.
Hope this makes sense!
