I am attempting to locate additional information on my Glenn/Bradley line in Derry.  William Glenn was born approx. 1806 and died on 7/30/1861 while living on Bishop Street.  He was a rope spinner.  I located information that advised he was buried in the St. Columbs church graveyard w/ out a stone.  He was married to Susan Bradley, also of Derry.  They were protestant.

I have been unable to locate his marriage information to Susan and any information on who his parents were.  I also would love to locate information on Susan, i.e., her death, final resting place and who her parents were as well.

They had several children - William, Susanna, Edward, Susan, Jane, John, Mary, and Margaret.  Mary is my line.  She married Charles Boyle, a catholic, in Derry in 1856.

Any information or help would be greatly appreciated! :)

  • My g.g.g. grandmother was Katherine Glenn daughter of Anthony Glenn and Mary Williamson from Londonderry.

She married George Buchanan and they and the family left IReland in 1841 arrived in Australia in 1842.  She too was from the Church of Scotland.

Perhaps you might have some information regarding this branch of the Glenns.

    Thank you
