Hi I am looking for a Sarah Boyd born about 1831. She emigrated to South Australia in 1855 on the ship "John Banks"
Can't find any trace of her after that?
The passenger list says she came from Derry but that unfortunately does not mean she was born there?
Other girls on that ship who stated they came from Derry were Elizabeth Anderson,Sarah Crew(e) Sarah mcCawley and Mary McKensey(McKenzie).
Any ideas would be appreciated.Thanks
Rob

Hi Col
Thanks for your assistance.I have stuck a brickwall with all of them.I have found a marriage for two of them in Victoria because they married men with unusual surnames. What happened to them after that who knows??
As for the others, disappeared off the face of the earth? The mobility of people in the 19th century amazes me!!
Again thank you
Rob
