Pam,
I read on a Genealogy.com blog that Justin married Kathleen Dillon in Dublin in 1898 and they shortly went to New Zealand. It looks like Justin later married Lottie Ethel May of New Zealand and they had at least two children Justin 1919 and Owen 1920. I will check on Ancestry.com to see if I can find out more info on Justin.

Could he have been born in Knockahorgan, Cork?

Pam/Mary:
This could be the 1901 census record for the family http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Cork/Rathcooney/Knocknahorgan/

Roger,
Thank you. The 1911 did not include the mother, Mary. I think she died in 1904.

I am still looking for the Justin's father, John's death record. He was not identified as deceased on Justin's marriage record in 1898. I am looking from 1881-1901.

Pam,
John might have died in 1895, age 70, in Riverstown. Witnessed by his son Florence.

Pam,
I think I identified the wrong Owen since he is supposed to be John and Mary's youngest son per this obituary?? He would be one of the oldest if the 1901 census is for the correct family.

Pam,
Birthdates are consistent with the 1901 census Roger provided.
Kate 1877

Margaret 1878

James 1884

Might support they are Owen's siblings and the obituary was incorrect. He wasn't the youngest.
