I am looking for Mahonys in Dunmanway RC parish. Although I think the family might be from Toam, in this query I am asking if anyone knows of Reillys who were in Cooleenagow at the time of Grifftith's Valuation in the 1850's. James Reilly Sr. and James Reilly Jr. were there at the time. In 1828 James Reilly married Julia Mahony. There is a good chance that Julia is a sister to my gggrandfather, Michael Mahony, whom I have not been able to trace. The following children were born in Cooleenagow: 1829 Honora; 1831 Daniel; 1834 Catherine; 1836 John; 1838 Julia; 1841 Mary; 1843 Denis; 1845 Jeremiah; 1848 Margaret; 1850 James. I am wondering if there are still Reillys in the same townland and if they would know of family history back to the early 1800's. Thank you for any help you can offer. Jan
