I am looking for any information on Ellen Rose Neylan (it could be Neyland, Neiland, or some other variation).  She was born somewhere around 1850.  She immigrated to Australia sometime 1862 around as her death certificate indicates she was in the colonies for 70 years.  She died in 1932.

According to her marriage certificate, her Father's name was Patrick Neylan and her mother's name was Mary Bourke.  He was a farmer. This is also verified on her death certificate.

She was also known as Rose Ellen Neylan.

Any information on her birth, immigration or family would be very much appreciated. The fact that she was born in Milltown Mowbay was provided by a family member in 1930s.  I have not found any other documented verification.

Thank you for any help.

The 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Kilfarboy civil parish which included Milltown Malbay lists six Neyland/Neyland/Neylon records including a Patrick Neylan in Kildeema North townland. Since the family did not leave Ireland until 1862, this possibly is the father of Ellen Rose.

If you have not already, you may want to visit the Clare Library site for genealogy.
