Hi,

My Grandmother was Agnes Grace from County Clare.  In the 1901 Census of Claire she is listed in the Electoral Division of Castlecrine and Townland of Ballycullen and was aged 7.  Her Father was James Grace and Mother was Bridget Grace.  Agnes emmirgated to Canada and married Owen Broden, also from Ireland.

Can anyone tell what parish Agens Grace was from?

Her granddaughter,

Colleen Salokannel

Hi Colleen, My name is John Desmarais, my grandfathers name was John Grace. He too is in the 1901 census. He emigrated to Canada in 1906. My sister has done a family search and has determined that Agnes Grace (my grandfathers sister) married Owen Broden in Montreal on October 2, 1917 at Saint Leon Church in Westmount,(Montreal) Que. Canada. I hope that this is helpful and not just a conicidence. I am very interested in knowing if there are still family living in Clare. Hopefully you are willing to share what you have found on the Grace Family.  If so please please email me at johndesmarais@hotmail. com.
