I don't know your time period and I assume your are looking for RC records for Scrabby Co. Cavan which is near the border with Co. Longford.

I found this information on Dr. Jane Lyons' site: www.from-ireland.net

The last line (1279228) shows the Mormon microfilm number which would contain the records for Scrabby. You can go to www.familysearch.org  order the film (costs around $7.50) and they send the film from Salt Lake City to a Family History Center near you.

    Scrabby ? Co?s Cavan & Longford
    Baptisms : Feb 12th, 1833 ? March 15th, 1854
    March 4th, 1855 ? Dec 28th, 1867
    April 4th, 1870 ? Sept 29th, 1880
    Marriages: Feb 17th, 1833 ? Feb 22nd, 1855
    April 15th, 1855 ? June 29th, 1871
    June 11th, 1877 ? Nov 13th, 1880
    Burials: Sept 9th, 1835 ? March 1854
    April 7th, 1856 ? August 20th, 1860
    NLI Pos. 4237
    LDS BFA 1279228 items 10-13

Your other alternative is to write/e-mail the church and see if they can assist you.

Let me know if you have any questions.

  • I'm assuming the years I'd be interested in would be between 1810-1850

I made a mistake yesterday and forgot to attach the link to the parish which used to be Scrabby.
