So far from what I know if Peter Nolan being perhaps one of my past great grandfathers being born in county Fermanagh; then later on in life moved to county Cavan and got married to a Mary (don't know her maiden name) then Im wondering in county Fermanagh which parish, town or village did he grow up in? Also heres a link that maybe helpful:

Thank you! :-)

Dear Francis,
This is a good to know this & luckily on this page you have 3 generations
What I do in this situation is to look also at the 1911 census

Peter is still alive, though the spelling has changed slightly & they have all got older, a lot more than the 10 years, which I believe may have something to do with this being the way to prove your age for old age pensions, I have quite a few living to 100 + in my tree which goes against medical proof.
Anyway, I would use familysearch.org(free site) for his marriage, while civil registration did not start until 1864, you may be luck to find some of the church records & if you find some that suit, get a copy & that may give you his residence at time of marraige, but take caution as the place of residence may not where he was born, but it will hopefully give you his fathers name & this will then take you off on the previous generation, you should get Marys maiden name also.
You can also use subscription sites, but prove your way at each step.
There were a lot of Nolans in this townland no doubt they are all related, dont overlook them also.
Best of luck in your search & let me know how you got on. Regards Carmel O'Callaghan
