Looking for parents of James Jackson (1828-1829) of Cavan and his wife Agnes Brady (b 1846 in Kilmore - d 17 Dec 1902 Kilgarve)

Also looking for descendants of James and Agnes who are still living in Cavan, specifically descendants of their grandchildren William John Jackson (1911- 8 April 1984 bur. Arvagh), or Cecil Lang Jackson (1925 - 5 May 1999 bur. Arvagh) or any others like grandson Arnold Joseph (Joe) Jackson (b 7 July 1920 Killgariff, Arvagh - d 18 Sept 1989 Dromore, Omagh, Tyrone), George R Jackson (1916-1993), Anna Jackson Norris (b 13 Feb 1915 Cavan - d 2 Feb 1989 Co. Longford). Parents of all these children were John Jackson and Hanna Lang

Looking for parents or descendants of William Laing (d. 5 Feb 1911, Drumhillagh, Arva) and his wife Susanna Bennett (d. after 1931, Drumhillagh, Arvagh).Susanna's parents were Joseph Bennett (1820 - 5 Feb. 1900 Ballintemple, Upper Lachen) and Sophia Lang (d. 20 Dec.1890, Ballintemple, Upper Lachen). Would like parents of Joseph Bennett and Sophia Lang Bennett.

Any information (oral history, obituaries, dates/places, contact with descendants) is desired! Many thanks!

    I checked the Irish phone book (118.ie/)  - People Search for Jackson and Laing in Cavan & there are 3 Jacksons but no Laings

    I am not permitted to post the details from the phone book on this site but you might want to drop them a line to see if anyone is connected - it has worked for others

  • I did some further research on addresses in Ireland and now realize that the information given by 118.ie does in fact include addresses (I'm so used to seeing street numbers!). Thanks - I set myself straight!

    My grandfather John Wm Bennett is brother of Susannah.  His parents (my great grandparents) are Joseph Bennett and Sophia Lang.  Sophia's father was Edward Lang and Joseph's father - Richard Bennett.  Joseph and Sophia were married in 1825.  I am trying to find out the name of Richard's wife.
